Graphical redesign of the Todo Widget

  • Added Dark and Black themes for Reminders Widget.

The Todo widget now supports opening reminders in an app of user's choice and some integrations.

Added Memento, GoodTask3 and Waze integrations.

New universal URL action: if the event or reminder has a URL property, it will be available as an action. This is amazingly useful with events created from e-mails as they will retain a link back to the message.

Interactive Mode

Eventail is first and foremost a display widget, but interactivity was a feature demanded from day one. After a long wait, here it is!

When interactive mode is enabled, events in the day view will expand and offer diverse contextual actions that can be executed.

  • Events and reminders can be opened in a selected application.
  • For events containing a location you can select a handler navigation app and invoke it directly from the widget.
  • Meetings set up using Google Meet, WebEx and Zoom can be joined diretly, either via the app or by phone.
  • You can direclty e-mail participants in a meeting.

Reminder Widget

A whole new widget is available for reminders that do not have a due date set. This widget can display tasks either as a list, suitable for todos or as a compact brick wall perfect for shopping lists.

Major Improvements

The widget is no longer constrained to a maximum height. Scroll up and down buttons will become visible when the widget displays more than a screenful of events.

Events that contain travel time will display it in detailed view.

Optionally automatically shrink the widget to always have minimum possible height.

For iPhoneX users, a totally black theme called 'Black' is now available

When there should be too many events displayed, the app will trucate them and only make them visible in the day view.

Completely rewritten from scratch

Dropped support for older iOS (before 11).

Switching between views is now smoothly animated.

You can now skip days without events

Days without events will not be displayed and a squiggly line will be inserted in the gaps.

Making all titles uppercase is now optional

By default all text will be displayed respecting the case of original. Optionally you can set all text in uppercase.

You can now choose between System or Condensed font

This means either San Francisco (iOS9 and later) or Helvetica (iOS8) for System font and DIN Condensed for Condensed. Condensed font is only available for latin scripts.

You can select between three different font sizes

This enables you to optimize for readability or content density. The normal size is the one in 1.0.

Events that have come and gone today are not displayed dimmed

Before these events were not displayed at all. In 1.1 you can optionally hide these events.

Chinese translation

The application is now localized in Chinese
