What's new in 3.0.1

Interactive Mode

Eventail is first and foremost a display widget, but interactivity was a feature demanded from day one. After a long wait, here it is!

When interactive mode is enabled, events in the day view will expand and offer diverse contextual actions that can be executed.

  • Events and reminders can be opened in a selected application.
  • For events containing a location you can select a handler navigation app and invoke it directly from the widget.
  • Meetings set up using Google Meet, WebEx and Zoom can be joined diretly, either via the app or by phone.
  • You can direclty e-mail participants in a meeting.

Reminder Widget

A whole new widget is available for reminders that do not have a due date set. This widget can display tasks either as a list, suitable for todos or as a compact brick wall perfect for shopping lists.

Major Improvements

The widget is no longer constrained to a maximum height. Scroll up and down buttons will become visible when the widget displays more than a screenful of events.

Events that contain travel time will display it in detailed view.

Optionally automatically shrink the widget to always have minimum possible height.
